Dr. Naomi Breckon is a co-founder of East Bay Health. She was born in California. After graduating from UCLA, she worked managing a surgery center for several years. She was then accepted into the Maternal and Child Health Program as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala. She led large scale programs that included a year-long health education training
course for all health educators, social workers and nurses in her county. In medical school, she helped run a student-led free clinic for the Spanish-speaking population and volunteered at homeless shelters providing Hepatitis C and HIV testing and counseling. Dr. Breckon had two beautiful children during medical school, and even delivered a baby while being 8 months pregnant herself. In her free time, she enjoys baking with her children, exploring local parks and playgrounds, hiking, skiing, and enjoying nature.
